Fraudsters may be posing as local council officials or professionals and cold-calling customers stating that they are eligible for a general tax or council tax rebate, with a sharp increase in the number of reports relating to fake council tax refunds in the last few weeks.

Apple blocks Binary Options trading apps

Apple has taken the step of banning any apps that facilitate Binary Options trading from its App Store, removing any chance of fraudulent activity taking place through applications installed on iOS devices such as iPhones or iPads. However, binary options trading can still take place through web-based software.
