Anyone who has bought shares that have turned out to be worthless is being urged to report it to Action Fraud, after police arrested fifteen Britons in Spain.
The arrests were made after police carried out a raid in Mallorca, where a gang is believed to have been cold-calling thousands of UK residents.
The names of fake companies linked to the gang include Dyno Medical, Inca Pacific Gold and Mining and Viking Gold Resources.
