Action Fraud and Greater Manchester Police are warning people about fraudsters who are using a cloned website to try to gain personal details from customers.
London & Scottish Bank PLC is a financial institution based in Manchester. The bank has been in administration since November 2008.
Their correct website for the bank is: www.london-scottish.com.
Representatives of the company have been made aware that an older version of their website has been cloned and is being used for fraudulent purposes. The cloned version is operating under the following website details http://lsplc.net/index.htm.
The contact telephone numbers on the cloned version have been changed to mobile numbers that are unconnected to any persons officially connected to London Scottish Bank PLC.
If you find yourself on the cloned website, do not enter in any personal information and leave the site immediately.
