'Bernhardos' charity scam

Residents are being urged to watch out for charity bags being distributed by a company calling themselves ‘Bernhardos’.

The company is using a name, colour scheme and logo that is very similar to the genuine charity, ‘Barnados’. It claims to be collecting clothing on behalf of St Pranciskus Asyzietis Parish in Lithuania, but the company is not a registered charity and is currently being investigated.
