Fake Olympic ticket websites

Tickets for the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games are not yet on sale. Beware of fake Olympic ticket websites. [23 June 2010]

 

Fraudsters are attempting to con sports enthusiasts out of money by offering tickets for the 2012 Olympics. These tickets do not exist and any company or website claiming that you can buy or reserve tickets now is fake. Tickets will go on sale in 2011 and will only be available via official London 2012 channels.

Last year, Which? Computing demonstrated how easily fraudsters can set up an Olympic domain by registering www.olympic-games-tickets.org.uk for just £7.
